Photography
HM21 embraces a photography style that feels authentic, natural, and human-first. Our images should capture moments of connection, collaboration, and shared purpose - showcasing how people come together to build, lead, and grow.
Atmosphere
We prefer photography with natural light and a soft, balanced tone. Subjects should appear approachable, thoughtful, and engaged in real, unscripted interactions. The atmosphere should reflect the spirit of clarity, openness, and transformation that defines HM21.

People
Photography should avoid excessive styling or artificial poses. Instead, focus on capturing genuine expressions of teamwork, diverse perspectives, and a shared vision for impact.

Styling
Smart-casual wardrobe is preferred — modern, professional, but not overly formal. Neutral tones work best to complement the brand palette.
Natural, confident body language is encouraged. Subjects should appear focused, engaged, and approachable.
Intentional framing — allow negative space for overlays or graphic elements. Images should feel spacious and well-balanced, not cramped.

Things to avoid
When selecting images, always adhere to the photography directions and avoid those that contradict them. Overedited photos, cliché advertisements, unnatural poses, stock images, or heavily manipulated visuals undermine authenticity. Similarly, excessively distant aerial shots, tilted angles, or busy scenes lacking a clear focal point can confuse viewers and dilute the message. Refrain from using traditional materials that may not resonate with an international audience.
